Unlike most toothbrushes with approximately 500-600 nylon bristles, the Dr. Collins Ultra Toothbrush features a brush head with 16 dense tufts, each containing 500+ micro-fine, ultra-soft bristles. Ordinary Nylon bristles are unable to be micro-sized due to lack of firmness, and wouldn't maintain its shape. Our Polyester bristles, on the other hand, are less porous, leading to less bacterial build-up.

In addition, the bristles are highly water resistant which allows them to remain soft out of water, keeping a plush feel.
